USI Workshop: Communication Maintenance in Longue Durée (24-25 Feb. 2022)

Communication and media studies have just partially included in their methodological and analytical tools reflections on maintenance and this paper-based workshop aims to advance in this aspect adding another fundamental yet underestimated layer in communication and maintenance research: the longue durée. The papers deal with histories, technologies, infrastructures, politics, economics, cultures of maintenance with methodological and empirical approaches used by scholars working in different countries and continents.

The workshop (24-25 Feb. 2022) will take place online.
